Emceeing

I’m no stranger to the stage; unlike a lot of people, it’s the place I feel most comfortable—besides a nice lake, of course.

I have been a SAG-AFTRA union stage/screen actor for over 15 years. I started public speaking in my high school days (winning my state speech team competition and speaking at graduation) and went on to perform onstage at theaters across the country, from Chicago to Key West, Florida.

I’m available as an emcee, host, or moderator. I have emceed for the National Writers Series, 20Fathoms, the ATHENA Awards, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and more!

If you’re looking for someone sassy yet vulnerable who knows the power of storytelling, curious conversation, and how to command a room, I’m your gal!

CLIENTS

Let’s CREATE AN INCREDIBLE EVENT!

  • "Your personality is electric"

“Thank you! I had a great time. You did a fabulous job! Your personality is electric without even a hint of overbearing or hubris. I hope to see you emceeing future events!”

Sherry Galbraith, nominator and attendee, Grand Traverse ATHENA Awards

  • "Gift for storytelling"

Dana knows how to captivate and move audiences! In the role of emcee, her gift for storytelling brought our retreat attendees into their hearts and their own transformational journeys. She also brought her gifts of curiosity and audience engagement to our planning process and that helped our content become even better and more clear.”

Gina Marotta, career transformation coach and RISE Retreats co-founder

  • "You were a hit"

"THANK YOU for all that you did for this event. You were a hit and brought the right vibes and energy. I knew you’d be great, but honestly, was blown away with how you captured the direction perfectly, were so easy to work with and really made our event a success. So glad we got to work together and hopefully will work together more down the road."

Mia Azpeitia, Director of Operations, 20Fathoms

  • "Beautifully Prepared"

You were beautifully prepared, so engaged, and Ethan [Kross] texted to say how happy he was with the interview! Thanks for hosting Ethan in front of 300 people—he has such an important message for folks, and the audience not only learned his important tips, but also laughed along the way, thanks to you."

Anne Stanton, co-founder and Executive Director, National Writers Series
