Picture it: Adorable, Pinterest-lookin’ cottages refurbished by a strong, beautiful, sassy woman who inherited the property after her father passed; an incredible host who makes sure that all her guests feel at home.

This is Cypress Resort & Marine. About an hour away from the Chicago city limits in Antioch, IL, Cypress Resort sits atop a scenic hill facing Petite Lake, with a private beach just for us (in fact, we’ll be the only ones on the property all weekend)!

Most of the cottages are single-use; guests in these cottages will have their own kitchen, bedroom, sitting area and bathroom.
